The Drawn Doubles took place yesterday afternoon. It was nice and sunny with a breeze. In the end 16 people played. Unfortunately some entrants had problems and were unable to attend. The start of play was delayed but the draw produced some interesting pairings. This was the first competition for our new members so they learned a lot and enjoyed the day.
We only played 3 games in the end and the winners were:
Gold – Bob Bish and Paul Hayward
Silver – Graham Blake and Sue Sandy
Bronze – Martin Ware and Hazel Baron
Pewter- Roz Silvester and Sara Tiller.
