We held our Fareham Open Doubles on Sunday 17th May 2026. It was a fun day and nice to see some new players from other clubs.
The weather was find to us with no rain, but it was windy and chilly in the afternoon.
We had 31 teams entered, the morning session was leagues of three timed games of 45 minutes, the winners of each league went into the Gold, the next best 8 in the silver, next 8 in the Bronze and the final 7 in Wooden Spoon. The afternoon was a knockout session with the losers of the first game going into a consolage.
Bacon rolls were served before play started, tea, soft drinks and cake were available throughout the day, with a BBQ lunch.
