Brilliant sunshine at 9 gave way to Mizzle for most of the morning, but we saw sunshine in afternoon. A light lunch was included in the entry fee.
14 players participated in many very tight games. Bob, Robert and Sheila went through to the main with 3 wins, joined by Daena on 2 wins and plus 20 after narrowly loosing to Sheila 12-13. With Daena beating Bob and Sheila beating Robert we saw a repeat match in a very entertaining Final. The result. 1st Sheila Hayward, Club Singles Champion.
2nd Daena Vincent. 3rd Bob and Robert. Consulate winner Jackie Churcher, and Plate Sue MacAleese. Gary Fannie’d Tim. And he looks delighted about it.
