32 players from Fareham, Porchester, Cobbets, Southsea, Southampton, The Ship and Arundel petanque clubs entered our charity melee in aid of Hants and IoW Air Ambulance. Overall we made £252 for the charity. Despite the rain, hail (!) and the very occasional burst of sunshine, it was a hotly contested but friendly competition.
- 1st place – Mark Robertshaw (5 Wins +52)
- 2nd place – Mike Sheppard (5 Wins +36)
- 3rd place – Gerry McAleese (4 Wins +34)
- 4th place – Alan Samuels (4 Wins +30)
Gerry also won the “Shoot the Egg” competition – thanks to Paul Hayward for running this competition.
